Singer/songwriter Taylor Sheridan, started his career as a young teenager in Rural Victoria and describes his music as ‘soulfully acoustic’ with influences varying from Stevie Wonder all the way to James Taylor.
Taylor says he has always tries to to combine elements of these different styles and make something fresh.
“I love the story telling of the acoustic folk and the singer/songwriter thing, but singing like (at least trying) soulfully is something that feels incredibly natural to me. Lyrics and melody are where my heart lies but if you find the right chords that genuinely excite you, that’s the real pay off.
Having released two independent EP’s and a string of singles that have featured in the iTunes Top 10, Taylor has toured all around the country playing with some of Australia’s finest acts including Pete Murray, Vanessa Amorosi, Daryl Braithwaite and John Farnham.
Taylor talents for harmonies were most recently recognised when he recently joined the iconic Australian band ‘Taxiride’ after being their support act for 2 years and says it’s a “career highlight”.
Taylor has a huge 2022 planned which includes new music and lots more live shows to come all around the country!
